I'm not sure which hack or fix it was, but something I installed from this site has sped up my game considerably. The load screens still take a while but the gameplay itself is going a lot faster and I can actually turn on more graphics options (like better lighting) without bogging down my system.

me too!  I'd love something to speed up my game...  and to be able to go back to the high graphics options - installing nightlife dumped me back to medium and turned reflections off - I can turn reflections back on, but anything else just bogs down my game quite horribly

I don't know. I noticed it the same day I installed the most recent versions of the Inteenimator and Insiminator (the ones that are recent right now).

The things I installed from this site on that day were:

NL - no autonomous napping

Did you have an OLD version of Insimenator installed before that?

If so, that explains it right there. The reason your game has sped up is because the old version caused it to slow down. That was a reported bug.

The first time I ever used the Insiminator was in October, so I don't think the version I had was that old. The game was very slow before I used the Insiminator anyway..

Actually, the October version was bugged w/ a pretty hefty performance issue.  You need to redownload the InSIMenator.
