THANKS THIS IS GREAT

Found objects!  Stylist Sims has a modern set of furniture available.  Link- http://www.stylistsims.net/sims3/objects_01.html . I have not tried it in game yet but I wanted to pass it along anyway.

Note that these look like they are for Sims 2 but they are not.  They are definitely Sims 3.

I am so happy to see this. Trying it out now, as this has made my eyes moist with excitement.

Trying them out myself, as soon as my dial-up collects them from the net.

Edit: Nice use of a custom logo to show it was downloaded. Smiley

Everything works in game, the chair/couch however default to brown coloring instead of black [like the thumbnail], so you have to recolor them yourself.
Also the bookshelf is not a bookshelf, and does not have the collision data for a object that size.

While on skins i hope some nice modder will be able to do a conversion of Enaylas awesome skintones to TS3

The only thing i dont like so far is a lot of the skintones have horrible dark blotchy patches on them , but that may be the way the ingame lighting works

[snip pic]

The deco bookshelf has only one footprint under the middle section bracket. That's why the sim can run through it.  I usually don't make houses with large areas for that kind of deco, so I probably will not keep it in the game.  There are texture issues, but this is beta, as the tool used is beta also. I am just happy to have something else to use in the game, for now.

I guess footprint is the term for this?

I don't think anyone has made anything to edit the footprint and slots yet. So for now you have to choose the object you clone from to have the right layout and be content to change the mesh, textures and text. The rest will happen a some point, we have seen a lot happen in the not-quite-two months since the official release date, plus maybe a couple weeks preview time.

You can find 124jiao skintone in XMSims. He regularly update his skintone. It getting better and better, my opinion his skintone is the best.

AG needs some guinea pigs to help her test out her new meshes for piercings as accessories.  http://club-crimsyn.dreamwidth.org/4458.html

Currently they are only for adult males and overwrite an earring accessory, but this is only for testing and the actual release will include females and have a unique thumbnail, so please to help her with the bone assignments and for debuggingses. Hrm ... she has also released a conversion of nouk's dreads that are teh luv. http://www.digitalperversion.net/gardenofshadows/index.php?topic=13760.0

I am so happy Norbi is creating for TS3.

Found a German site with a kitchen and dining set. You have to register @ Sims3MarktPlatz to download.

Kuche Freaky

Modern Bubbles

About to try them out when I finish posting.

The upper and base cabinets fail when they are cornered. Since the EA mesh they are taken from fails for me while cornering, I guess they need a fix before anyone can make custom cabinets from them.

Big hole in the cabinet mesh when placing a sink.

Sims sit in the seats properly and the tables are the right height. The bubble table and chairs set is ugly to me, but that just about taste. I may keep the chairs. The vase is pretty, but the thumbnail in the catalog is not right.

Urgh. You have to sign up. How annoying.

Still, anything that fixes such a ridiculous glitch is great news.

Well, Least I'm not the only one who noticed this.

Really bad on EA's Part, since Sims 2 had it but Sims 3 didn't.  Roll Eyes

I just downloaded it. I always wondered why my pregnant sims suddenly didn't look pregnant when taking a bath or shower. Even in TS2 they had pregnant bellies while nude.

This doesn't necessarily work, though. In order for your MTS account to work there, you need to have been a member back when the adults downloads section branched off into SS2 (that was what, three years ago? More? I can't remember). Otherwise I'm fairly certain you have to open a second account.
