What about the binary data in aweconf.package?
« on: 2009 July 12, 13:59:00 »
THANKS THIS IS GREAT

I see the binary data in the aweconf.package at the top and bottom changing when I change something with the AwesomeMod Configuration tool. So I wonder if I have to change those binaries as well when I change some of the settings in the XML-part manually.

The binary data at the top and bottom of the Aweconf package is the DBPF header and index. If you attempt to change the file manually in a hex editor, you will probably corrupt the file. Don't do this. If you REALLY want to edit the file manually, you should extract it in IngePE or a comparable tool.

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I cannot accept, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of those I had to kill because they pissed me off.
