Yeah, I hate to sound really ignorant, but I've never heard of either of those.
...
And why would anyone want periods, of all things, in the sims?

For the same reason you want cancer, of all things, in the sims.

So since we're all going "I can haz pony" crazy, I'd like a "set hour" mod ala sims 2 cheat and I'm looking for someone willing to make a script mod that makes it possible for sims to go skinny dipping regardless of non-adult-type folk being present.
It's weird that a couple that has a pool in their backyard need to go out to some club just to get freaky with each other. Yes, I know I can make the kids leave but that's kind of hard at 2am especially when they have to wake up early for school the next day.

I'm looking for a no-autonomous computer use mod. Yes, yes, before before you toss me into the vat of boiling, overcooked-and-therefore-harmless sharks - I'm fully aware these things already exist, but they disable autonomy for the entire town, and what I'm after is a mod that only disables autonomous computer use for the active household. That way, I can have a computer in the house without having the entire household swarming towards it to play computer games or chat online. Does such a thing exist?

^I found a solution by using a laptop instead of a desktop and sticking it in one of the WA trunks when it isn't being used for something I deem important. Is that not an option for you?

Does such a thing exist in real life, even?

Nope - primarily because I don't have WA. The closest thing I could do in parallel to that would be to either put the computer behind a locked door or constantly move it to the family inventory when it's not in use. The former is impossible as the sim can still 'see' it, and the latter would be incredibly tedious. I'll have to stick to sending my sim off to the library to pick up its real estate earnings, unless there's another way that I've totally overlooked (most likely). Does such a thing exist in real life, even?
If it doesn't, it should. Usually a power cable temporarily wrapped around the culprit's neck serves as a timely reminder that the computer should be LEFT ALONE! Also, whilst I'm on the subject of no-autonomy mods, is there one that kills off the annoying "view object" interaction that virtually every sim in the neighbourhood must do every time they walk past a potted plant or an exit sign? I've searched (again), but only came up with the equivalent "no look at" mod for Sims 2. I vaguely remember that pre-Ambitions, only artistic sims would stare and gawp at objects, but now they all do it. I mean, what on earth is so fascinating about a sign telling them where the exit is?Scratch that - I've been directed to one here.

You should be able to collect one's earnings either via cell phone or via map view. Unless using a computer allows one to collect the earnings all at once.

Ah, I forgot about the phone. After giving it a try tonight, it looks like I can only collect my earnings one place at a time. For some reason I thought that I could collect them all by using the computer, but now that I think about it, it was probably an AM feature that existed before EA took the ownership certificates out and came up with this more cumbersome system instead.

It's kind of ridiculous. Sims have cellphones and computers. Why can't they have electronic banking? And by that I mean: why must they drive all the way across town simply to "collect profit"? They clearly don't live in 1975. There are no bell-bottoms!

Because people don't find threats to their kneecaps terribly credible over the phone? How exactly did you THINK profit got collected?

My google-fu has failed me. This is a lame request for links to any simple tutorials about converting accessory custom tattoo packages into Ambitions custom tattoos packages. Baaa and free sporks in advance.

MTS has a tutorial on how to make ambition tats. Pre Amb tats are pretty much just overlays while Amb tats are more like patterns. You would have to make the RGB layers yourself, so depending on the tat it might be easy or it might not.

Requesting a house if anyone feels like making one. I can make one that functions well enough but they are always really ugly.
Six bedrooms. Two with cribs one decorated with typical girl colors/items and one for boys. Two with single beds decorated however. And two with double beds also decorated however. One main area with a TV, at least one computer and desk somewhere. A room/space for skill items, the easel, treadmill, strength bench etc. I'd like to have them all. Room for two cars and a nice yard. Trees and bushes and all that.
As for bathrooms/colors/windows/ anything else I didn't specifically mention, use your best judgment as long as it looks nice.
If possible keep it to one floor and a basement or two floors.
Also, preferably no items that aren't included in the base game or ambitions.

I would like to see a mod regarding butlers. I would like to see them do less cooking and more of them taking care of children and possibly gardening. Also, I would like to see the game not charge you when the butler cooks even when your fridge is stocked with everything in the game.

There's already a mod on MTS to control the butler's cooking, everything from having him not cook at all to only cooking when asked.

Request: The "new" Barnacle Bay Set, if possible; if not, I can understand why no one would want to buy it, yet, again.
Rednotdead posted a link, but that link states that the file has been deleted.

Thank you, and I do hope this was posted correctly.

Has anyone ever made a mod that replaces the default taxi for sims that don't own a car? A city bus would seem to make more sense for a broke and carless sim. Plus, travel using subways would make more sense.
