THANKS THIS IS GREAT

Well it's not quite the Sims 2 jump bug, but my sim is constantly jumping out straight up. No matter what he is doing he stops every few seconds and looks like he is holding a toddler. I would "reset" the sim like in Sims 2 but there doesn't seem to be an option for it even with Awesomemod. It started when his toddler daughter was having a birthday. I directed him to bring her to the cake but someone got there before him.

Here is a photo and video to show what is happening.

Are there any suggestions on what I should do?

If you have debugging enabled in awesome mod, you can type "resetsim" in the console box.

My primary Sim does this as well, and it's been driving me nuts!

Thanks Marhis. Just a note though, you have to put the sims first and last name after resetsim it doesn't just reset the selected sim. I kept trying that until I realized that I was stupid.

I've noticed a jump bug in my game, of a different nature, but didn't see the point in starting a new thread. In my game, when somebody cleans up a picnic meal from one of the picnic tables (not the blankets on the ground), any sims that were previously sitting at the table are suddenly standing around the table, in the same formation as before, except that they're standing about a square away from where they were previously sitting. I have a sneaking suspicion that this is "normal" game behavior, but it looks really friggin weird.

I have an experience similar to that of chaos.
If I choose "chat" as an option at the picnic table, they'll chat for a bit while seated, then everybody resets to standing positions around the table and all food and plates vanish.
It probably is normal game behavior, but I doubt that's how it was intended.

I always wondered what happened to food trash on community lots. There aren't any NPC janitors, so the plates and baskets just go poof after a while?

Eventually, the food either gets eaten, or a sim with the Neatness trait cleans it up. Either way, the picnic poofs.

The game resets community lots every day at 3am.  All garbage poofs, items stolen by klepto Sims have a chance of returning.  There was an early build of AwesomeMod that seemed to bork this but the problem has long been fixed.
