Tombstones

Hope his isn't a stupid question since I can't find anyone discussing this.  When a Sim dies when you are playing a different house, where does the tombstone go?  Iv'e had about thirty Sims die and I have no tombstones. Not at the cemetary and not at their homes or in inventories.  Where?

Yuppers. Masoleum. Choose "Manage Dead".
