Also, don't you need the car for sale display podium thingy to set the car on?
My first (so far only) business was a car dealership and I used the moveobjects on cheat to put cars on the ground. Sims could still buy cars like usual. I don't even know WHERE the sale display podium thing is, for that matter. |

Easiest way to find it is to use the Business or OFB collection. It's a clickthrupagesfest otherwise.

Yeah, that thing is damn near impossible to find. I was able to see two cars and when I put them on the lot with the move_objects cheat it glitched and made the car continuously drive past the lot. O_O I had to pause and catch it to delete it so it would stop. Then when my owner went to another lot he couldn't call the cab to go home or walk home. He had to drive the blue van that was mysteriously parked like he'd driven it there when he'd taken a cab. But then when he got to the home lot he got out of a cab. >_< That was a WTF!? moment. I will figure it out and get back to you all on what I did. |

That was a WTF!? moment. Clearly he was up to something and felt that changing cars halfway home would help cover his tracks. I wouldn't trust him. |

Yah, that's because you didn't put it on the rotating podium thingy and set it for sale. Same thing happens if you cheat around to get the restorable car on community lots. As soon as it's finished, it drives off. Bit late for that now, this is the last month. Last month for what? Work on TS2? Gah. Just a few more weeks before we get to see the shitfest that is TS3. |

I missed out on TS1, and came late to TS2. I'm damn well getting in on the ground floor on TS3 (or as soon as an arrr copy is available without DRM), at least until it proves itself an inferior product.
That said, I'm not dumping TS2 either. My current 'hood is only at gen 4 and I'm not even tired of it yet.
