usually when you get error code 6 it still uploads. At least that's my esperience with albums.

I will go back and check.nope it didnt upload As it turns out, you can upload holiday pack items to the exchange but if you don't have the pack installed on your comp, the holiday specific objects won't show in your game. Basically the same as expansion packs. So it isn't the holiday pack items causing your time out |

So, I got my hands on the x-mas pack. (Thanks Linda!)
I decided, as usual, to use Don as my guinea pig. I always play him with the new EPs to test things out. Of course, never saving because I usually mess things up big-time.
First thing was to get rid of that ugly hair of his. The poof drove me nuts. I gave him a faghawk, and noticed there were three GIANT elf hats with silly ears attached to them. Pretty funny, didn't know the game came with those.
Now I'm trying to figure out how to make Santa come. Any tips?

That could be but I always seem to get error code 6 if I try and upload anything to the exchange. EA said alot of it has to do with how much traffic is on the server that could be . I rarely ever upload anything. because of My CC . much of it says do not upload to the exchange. |

Is there a buyable plate like last time? Or am I forced to bake them? Also, I noted there were floors. About two rows in the carpeting section were all holiday-esque carpets with decorational borders and things. Was this announced? Quite nice of them, although very dissapointed if they counted them torwards the 40+ objects. |

About Santa coming. I know this is noobish, but what exactly do I do? Does it require the new tree, because I could only find the old tree in my game.
So far all I know is you leave cookies out. Do they have to be asleep by 8pm like the old game, or what?

I seem to have errors baking cookies... Don put them in the oven, took them out. He held 'em for a second and they were gone. Don't tell me Santa ate them arleady! So I tried again, same error. And again. And again. So finally I went into buy mode and put the plate on the table before he "lost" it. No interactions, just "clean up." I waited until ten and heard some chuckling. Lo and behold it was Satan himself. He made a "where the hell are my cookies?" gesture, and left some coal. Don cheered and Santa left. Absolutely ravishing! I can't wait to do it again!!! |

I got the errors with the cookies too. Then I tried running the game with expansion packs and the holiday pack but without any custom content and they worked fine. I think it's a conflict with some custom foods because I have a couple of those.

Strange. I don't have much custom content. None really, other than walls, floors, and terrains. Maybe a few objects, keyword few. And some hacks from this place, but no custom food.
