Autosocialize non-friends

A hack request:
Macro - Socialize friends is a good way to keep friendships up during parties or in large lots, however there is no way to autosocialize non-friends. (Unless I missed it).
A hack which does this would help a lot. What it should do is just run the autosocializer on a random non-enemy non-friend Sim in the area, and increase relationship until the two are friends, then target another Sim.
As the game works now I have to remember to autosoc a new Sim manually, or my Sims will start wasting time trying to get relationships up to 100.

Why would getting relations up to 100 be a waste of time? That's the objective, is it not? So you want an autosocializer mode that automatically selects a random partygoer for you and attacks until they max out? (This doesn't take very long, if your sim knows Bust-A-Move!) Or would you prefer a random "party cruiser" mode that simply attempts to "meet" everyone on the lot that they don't already know for future victimization?

There could be a "meet & greet option" to get it up to, say 25 or so, or a "make all friends" that could start with the perfect stranger and move on to getting true friends up to 100..... just a thought.
edit: you could even have a "party pooper" option to go around and make enemies of everyone there. >:-)

Both options would be great, and they would both have different uses. The party cruiser mode would be most helpful of the two, since I could use that at first, and later switch to socialize friends after some manual befriending.
I refer to upping a relationship to 100 as a waste since once they've hit 70 they're friends already, and the friendship will reinforce itself without much help after that with your mods installed. And I can always do a few days of 'call friends'.

Actually, once you hit the 30 mark, it takes less than an hour for the thing to max out. In fact, due to the differential gap, it'll probably max out before you even know it's happening, unless you're stuck in the slow, non-bust-a-move cycle. 100 isn't really a waste, since the power-cycle has no rejection and works much faster than the phone-chat does, which means the maintenance on the AutoYak is much lighter.

Might it be possible to get the Autosocializer to use the Cool Shades, if availiable, and in Gold Aspiration? because the 40-point bonus from a Cool-Shades-Assisted Bust-A-Move is almost too good to pass up.
Hmm. You know, I have absolutely no idea whether or not something bad happens when using the Cool Shades in Green or Red. I'll have to try that...

The problem is that in the time it takes for your sim to go and *GET* the cool shades, your victim sim will have wandered off and will be horsing around with some random object. You'd then need to have some other sim around to keep him locked down, etc., etc.

Ah. Fair enough. I'll just have to keep Cool-shading manually, then.

I know what you mean. I had a grad party with 21 guests and hit the 'Socialise Friends' tab. The YA started on one friend on 52 and was still at it ages later. I had to cancel it, otherwise he'd never have spoken to anyone else. No matter how many times I cancelled out that particular Sim, he just kept going back to her, so I had to manually get him to circulate. I prefer them to chat for a few minutes to each guest, rather than ages on one. I agree that getting them up to 100 isn't necessary. If they're 70 or over a quick hug is enough, it's the ones below that I would rather they concentrated on. Same with the phone, when I get them to call people it's those at around 25+ because they can make them friends with one call. Unfortunately, the Auto Yak only deals with friends and that doesn't help if you want new friends for work purposes. I'd LOVE to see both these adapted to "socialise/call almost-friends" or something. I think it would serve a far better purpose that way.

Ages later? What, did he not have the Dancing skill? If he doesn't have the dancing skill, he won't have Bust-A-Move and thus it will go kinda slowly.

That's not what the AutoYak is for. If you just want to make friends with some random person you weren't friends with before, use the standard Call Sim phone caller. The AutoYak is for those idle moments of maintaining your existing friends.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone busting a move apart from Don Lothario and his sons, who bust each other's moves all the time. I do have quite a few female Sims with good dancing skills, but I've never seen them do it, although I have a feeling one of Don's daughters may have busted her father's move at one time (or do they bust their own moves?). For some strange reason, the only born-in-game kids iwho have ever showed any real interest in dancing were Don's - I remember his twins to Dina spending practically their entire toddlerhood dancing to the stereo. I still haven't worked out how to find out the dancing skills in SimPE - someone did post something about how to discover them, and pool skills, but I couldn't follow it. Could do with some sort of hack to show these, would help knowing whether it's worth pushing them to work towards them for the scholarship or not.

The Dancing skill is probably one of the most useful skills in the game, as well as being the fastest to acquire. The Dancing Scholarship comes right on the heels of the availability for "Bust-A-Move". Click on some other sim of appropriate age (not child), and check the entertain tree for "Bust-A-Move". If you have it, this means you either already qualify for, or are minutes away from, the Dancing Scholarship.
The money is irrelevant, but Bust-A-Move = Godly. Witness the power of AutoSocialize in action when you have access to this ability.
FEEL THE POWER!
Once you try this, you will never, ever, complain to me about it taking too long to get to 100. It takes seconds. Literally.
