Quick question: I don't have to redownload the Store Edition to play with these items, do I?
The Store Edition is what EAxis gives you/makes you install if you download ANY of their content from the site....and I hate it. It just takes up unnecessary space on my hard drive and slows down my game even more.
So, in theory, I should be able to download these things into my downloads folder for my game and EPs, the normal way, and they'll work, right?

Mistyk: first of all, I wanna say thanks for uploading these! I love the deco set in particular.
Secondly, though, the whole reason I came to this site (other than because it's awesome) is the Oh Baby! set, and while it downloads properly and I put all the files in my downloads folder, and it SAYS that they're actual files....they don't show up in game. It's just the Oh Baby set. I've downloaded a handful of other sets from this link and they all work fine (though they show up as custom content, but I hardly care about a stupid start in my catalog) it's just this one set that doesn't work. Any advice?

Placing the baby files in C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2\TSData\Res\Catalog\Bins\EA Store worked for me, I am SO delighted to finally have these items, they've been making me sad since they came out and turned out to cost something like €5.

So thank you mistyk for sharing, thank you menaceman for altering the chair so that it makes noise and thank you maleucia for pointing me towards that other thread. I couldn't have enjoyed these items without you guys It is very much appreciated.

The first in the "where the fuck are my feet" series for the store items, complete with obnoxious painted text. Pants have been altered to conform more to the shape of the legs and raised to reveal the high heels. Default replacement; includes meshes for both video settings, same vertex/face count as the original mesh.

Is anyone awesome enough to fix the missing Material Overrides for the Planter_CallaLily from this set?  It seems to be the reason why I cannot recolor those flowers and being non-awesome, I cannot fix it myself.

I am looking for the male Dashiki, Cheongsam, Hakama (Holiday Stuff) and female Qipao, Thai Dress, Kimono (Holiday Stuff). If anyone knows where I can find these or wants to share I would greatly appreciate help.

Those items, as you just pointed out yourself, are from a stuff pack. Although they CAN be bought from the store, they are not exclusive to the store, and so aren't included in the store collections.

OK, I couldn't get both files in one reply so here is the teen male conversion.
I can not make heads/hairs, but JoWe says the mummyhead is working for childs and teenagers?
Do what you want with them, just wanted to give something back.

The mummy head?  I wish it didn't show up in mine.  The damned thing turned up on every downloaded Sim in my bin.  I was finally able to delete every f'ing copy of it that had hidden in my downloads folder only by reinstalling and putting all my CC back in slowly so as to stomp on all the extra versions of it that had infested my downloads folder.  If I didn't know better I'd think it was a kind of virus.

I don't think it's a Store item, I didn't see it there.

There is no texture in the package, so it shows the default formal instead of it.


EDIT: It is a Double Deluxe pre-order items.

Getting a "No Photo" problem on Store furniture.
All images and textures missing, but furniture description shows.

Got all EP/SP and downloaded the Store items from mistyks 4Share, put them in the Documents\EA\TS2\Collections. Also tried EA Games\TS2\TSData\Res\Catalog\Bins\EA Store, only furniture working is Oh! Baby in Catalog\Bins\EA Store.

Anyone know how to fix that?

I just downloaded the Asian Fusion collection from the 4share link.
All the files are intact, but a few of them don't show up in the game.

What does show up is - all the clothes, all the hair, and some of the furnishings:  double bed, 2 dressers, 2 end tables, coffee table.  But not the rest of the furnishings.
If this is a known problem, with a known solution, I'd love to hear it!  For some reason I am a little obsessed with the new bonsai and shoji screen....
