More Awful than You! May: Clothing Meshes of the Damned

Okay, this one might not be applicable because it is a Maxis mesh converted for the Bodybuilder mesh, but it has seriously disturbed me. Of course, I wanted to share the nausea. Do note that the mesh is flawed for the texture advertised, however.

I don't think this is so much a flawed mesh as it is a bad texture conversion job.

I think it's disqualified because it was made yesterday, but it's still really, really hideous.

This contest should have a lot of potential for awfulness, but people don't seem to be able to tell bad meshes from bad clothing.

I can understand giving a kid a skinny waist. I was an awfully skinny kid. But little girls don't have curves like that at the hips.

Looks fine to me. Those are most likely pointy-toed shoes, not feet. The female's seem a bit narrow, but that could just be the angle.

Well, it does say "elf" in the description. I suppose that is why they are pointy-toed.

Pointy toes could just be a medieval theme thing going on.

These body type projects have always bugged me. I know it sucks that most sims only have two body sizes -- not fat and fat. That doesn't mean, however, that I want to see meshes for every possible female body type classified by boob size. And if you're going to make an really large woman, at least make her proportional. Here, the skirt looks padded because her legs are so much skinnier that they should be. And I don't even know what to say about her breasts. Finally, a modeling hint: if you make a mesh with really huge hips, don't pose your model holding a purse in such a way that it pokes through her body.

Oh, is that what it is.  I thought it was some kind of iron-clad, external kidney.

Although not truly awful, this mesh amuses me as it makes the sim appear like she is falling backwards. Or, that the skirt itself is causing her knees to buckle, while also acting as a barstool.



I was reminded of snakewomen, although snakewomen has an ample enough bosom to maintain her balance.

It's because the picture is taken in Bodyshop - teens always bend their knees slighty unless you press F3

But the... feet on the mesh and the finished product isn't even the same? Why would she mutiliate her own mesh like that? Are you sure it's the same mesh?

The feet look normal to me. However, the recolours on Neptunesuzy's site by Grizzelda (which Katze pictured) are horribly deformed. Oops! She broke it!
