Indonesian people (though there's a signigiciant (sic) lack of language skills), are usually very nice and patient.

  I bet she had never come to Indonesia at all. Not that they're rude, but definitely not very patient. Also, I believe the Indonesians will get offended by 'significant lack of language skills', true maybe their English isn't the best, but Indonesian is a language too.

In fact most of them can probably speak a bit of English at least.  How many of us native English speakers can speak a bit of Indonesian?
