Selling fish

Hi,
This is a very bad time to ask this when everybody is excited about FT... but I noticed something when I was playing:
Sim A owns a store. Playable sim B goes to the store and buys some fish. Sim B pays 200 simoleons, sim A gets just 50 simoleons and bouf, 150 simoleons has vanished in to the thin air.   

Is there a logical reason for this? Can I fix the problem somehow?

Maybe your business paid wages at the same time as the fish was being sold.

Double check the pricing on the fish for sale was actually 200$.  I've had problems taking lot deeds out of inventory and going straight to marking them for sale.  The game adjusts the price down to a custom price with a tiny mark up!  I have to take them out of inventory, go back to play mode, then mark them for sale to get the price what I want.  I wondered if the same thing was happening to your fish.
