THANKS THIS IS GREAT

When a sim has a hobby maxed out and begin working on an activity related to that hobby, they get "in the zone." This is all fine and dandy, except... Every time they get in the zone, a loud sound effect is played and they start glowing. This is OK too, except... being in the zone doesn't stick once the activity is stopped. So, imagine a maxed out nature hobbyist watering a 4 x 4 garden.

And that's what made me angry enough to quit the game to make this, then post it here. Tongue

DOWNLOAD ONLY ONE:
djsnozoneeffects.zip - Disables all zone effects, period. No sound, no glow.
djsnozonesound.zip - Disables the loud, annoying sound. I don't mind the glow, so this is the one I use. Tongue

I was thinking "oh, that sound isn't so bad, it's useful when a sim is blogging in another part of the house" ... until I had a nature sim macro/skillinate gardening (with the repeated watering of the same plant).

Downloading and BAAA!

I'm downloading it because it got on my nerves when they were sleeping.

If there's strange noises and lights coming from the bed, I fully expect the sims in it to be woohooing.

THANK YOU. I used Carrigon's badge cheat to get my Sims maxed in all hobbies, so the sound and glow were constant!

Wow!! This is soooo going to save my sanity!  I have been playing my Legacy family (full house 8 sims all gardening, huge garden, everyone in and out of the zone)  I had to turn the sound off it was AWFUL!

Thanks very much!

Works perfectly and I no longer have to reduce the hobby skills points to stop that annoying sound.

Thank you!
