ACR doesn't like leaf piles. WHY it doesn't like leaf piles, I don't know, other than that the leaf-pile is a single-bed and sims cannot have sex in it. The error is not in a Maxis BHAV so I have no idea what it's doing, and in any case I don't have edit access to it. The leaf-pile is as-is from Maxis and works normally in-game. I find it amusing that of all the things to break on, ACR breaks on the one item in CS that wasn't broken in some way out of the box.

ROFL. Now that is hilarious. Well I guess I have a few weeks to decide if I like ACR or the leaf bed more, since I wasn't actually planning on using it until the next ep anyway.

Just one thing to report: the toilet bush was nowhere to be found in my game, and I saw in SimPE that it doesn't have a category.  I put it under outside/plumbing/toilet and now it works fine.
It has a category: "Bushes". Bushes are found in build mode. With the other bushes.

...Duh. I'll "fix" it back and learn where the option is . Cheesy

Something in the cs stories pilferage isn't playing nice with ACR. I haven't narrowed it down yet, though. I just thought I'd let you know that something isn't playing nice.

**Update: Aaaaaaaaaaaand it's the leaf bed. I don't know why it's causing problems, but oh well.
Floopy. How wasn't it playing nicely? I'm getting pissy that I haven't been able to play for the past three-four days due to those stupid animation string errors.

It may be breaking in the same way as the Pet Stories hot tub?  ACR doesn't like that either.  As far as I can determine, ACR sees the object as available for woohoo, but breaks because it can't route two sims into it in the usual way.  I posted the error log over on inteen a long while ago, but TJ declined to address it.

If I get to it before Floopyboo, I'll post an error log for the leaf pile.

It would just error as soon as I clicked on a sim lived on a lot that had such a bed, or got said sim to click on another sim. I couldn't test it further because it's a small hood & I don't really have a test hood going at the moment. I'll post the log here, but if it disappears again *coughpes* let me know & i'll pm it to you.

@Kabuto
I tried to make this outfit by myself. I am still learning to export things and I don't really know why but my version seems to work fine.

It's an orangutan not a monkey.

Yes, you can adopt monkeys, notice the monkey in the video has a portrait Smiley
They can't do a lot of things that the people can, but they can gather food and get a job to earn you resources. They can also play the bongos Cheesy

Saladoor means that they want it extracted and in the Sims2 not in castaway.

It is not believed feasible to extract an entirely seperate species of critter, as the animation strings wouldn't be recognized by the engine and all of the underlying hardcode would be totally absent.

Does anybody have the picture from pets, the one of a roman kind of guy?

I hope this question isn't completely stupid, but in case it is sorry in advance.   Are the items in Castaway stories, like the bookcase, toddler block toy etc.  basically just recolors of the meshes in the normal game?  They would be great for a poor or apocalyptic type neighborhood, but I haven't seen them extracted anywhere.  Is it because having them would be as simple as popping open Simpe getting the .png's and making a recolor of the existing items with them, so they figure someone without Pescado's talents will just do it themselves if they want them?  Or is it because there is something really hard and broken about them that I am just not thinking of?  Just curious before I attempt doing it via the first option myself.  Smiley

No, we generally don't bother with pictures, as they are pure bloatware and have no functional elements, thus requiring absolutely no skills to clone badly.

After some experimenting I got more outfits to work but now look at this:

There are weird textures and necklines or "broken" or to thin arm!
How could EAxis ever let it like this?
Now I have to find someone who would fix this...

One of the things to beware of with Stories body meshes is that they are often low-quality compared to regular Sims meshes. This is not so apparent in objects because things are typically blocky to begin with, but the corner-cutting performed to increase performance in Stories may translate badly when subjected to the full range of scrutiny that occurs in the Real Game. Ideally, it is best to try to port the textures to the meshes of the real-game, and not copy the Stories bodymeshes.
