I can't recall who it was.  But I once read a post on the BBS by someone who said that they moved EVERY family from the premade neighborhoods into one custom neighborhood.  And I'm pretty sure this was before Uni, when the character file limit was much smaller.

I have to wonder how quickly that neighborhood exploded...   

I did that  pre uni with the base game I moved the brokes,the burbs, the pleasants and the oldies from Pleasantview to a custom hood and it was almost instantly that problems started occuring. Herb Oldie insisted he wanted to flirt with Mary Sue his daughter. Daniel no longer saw Jennifer as his sister so therefore an affair with Jennifer  was the first thing he wanted. it destroyed family ties and finally after playing this way for about a week the game got so currupted it crashed me to the desk top. after I uninstalled and reinstalled I left the families where they were and simply created new families for custom hoods  and I havent tried that boneheaded Idea since then  . almost 2 years later what ever neighborhood sim a starts in thats where sim a stays

I subscribe to TwoJeffs' Soapbox forum, and that's where this thread started, but Rennie moved it over to Sims 2 Discccccccusions.  The other thread was in the Soapbox too, but TJ never gets to respond to them before Rennie jumps in and adds her 0.000002 cents.  I wanted to see what he had to say.

My Justin is a Gemini. A rarity in his family, since his father and most of his siblings are all Taurus. He does have a teenaged brother, though. Actually, two. They're twins. Jeremiah and Jason. They are the two that Joe kept out of the 11 children he and Bella had not long ago, where the others were adopted by Don Lothario. Jason looks almost identical to Justin as a teen. He's also a romance sim:

my Bad I forgot to ask you what he was.  however I created  a younger Brother who is Identical to Justin except for the clothes ,birth sign and aspiration. I named him Joshua Danforth he is a Cancer and is Family aspiration. I moved Tara in with him and there is  chemistry  2 bolts right now where there were none between Justin and Tara. I went into Sim Pe  and Linked Joshua and Justin as brothers. Tara has come out of aspiration Failure now and Joshua has a crush on Tara  and the feeling is mutual.Justin saw Tara and Joshua flirting and exhibited no reaction he stood in Joshua's flower bed and watched. Tara and Justin are now best friends LOL however I wish Tara would lose the want to fall in love with Justin there is no chemistry between the two Below is a thumbnail of Justin's new brother  Joshua

So glad to see Joshua is not wearing sandals. My Justin has a brother named Josh(ua), too. It's Josh, now, but was originally Joshua. I changed it when he went to Uni so that he wouldn't be confused with his frat-brother Joshua Ruben.Those J-names are catchy, aren't they? In real life, my husband's family uses J names. Family tradition that I passed along to my Sims.

nope no sandals on Justin or Joshua and yep the J names are catchy. Justin is wearing the outfit he arrived in  the only things I may have changed on Justin is undies,sweatsuit,swim wear and formal wear and pajamas he wear a coast guard academy sweatsuit that is blue in my game ,form fitting black undies.a  suit from Pronup sims and form fitting black polo swim trunks and tan pajama bottoms that arent high waters.Joshua wears form fitting white undies, a red coast guard sweat suit ,maroon suit from pronup sims and blue plaid pajama bottoms all CC for Justin,Joshua and Tara

I'm not sure how packaging sims in bodyshop works, as far as that's concerned. I'm guessing the formalwear and PJ's aren't included in the packaging? Justin doesn't do the highwaters thing, either  And he goes shirtless any chance he gets.

No, just the clothes they are wearing.  I thought it did everything once when I made a sim in Bodyshop to go into the game, but the last thing he was wearing was what he went with, which happened to be his athletic gear.  It gave me some message about it.  Everything else I had carefully chosen for him was lost.

High waters are pants or in this case pajama's that end well above the ankle. Maxis pajama's are  highwaters they end on the lowest portion of the calf. their called that because it looks like  you are expecting a flood the moment you step out of bed or out the door

Not in this case capris are meant to hit mid to low calf .hihwaters or floodwaters refers to pants that are supposed to hit the ankles such as pajama bottoms

Well I made him a Romance sim against my inclination as I don't *like* romance sims, so you don't complain. Besides the hair is *nice*

you forgot mine in your haste to send the cow to me so Justin ended up being a taurus and a Romance sim with a degree in Mathematics .however his younger brother created from the clone of Justin has a degree in Political science and is a cancer . he married his older brother Justin's exwife Tara so Justin the Hotties DNA will continue as Tara is pregnantby Joshua. now if she would just quit rolling  up wants for Justin. her last wants were play with Joshua,Flirt with Justin,Kiss Justin,give a back rub to Joshua ,Have a baby,ne friends with Aurora Landchild  a sim she caught Justin cheating with which led to the divorce.

I don't even remember which outfit I sent him in. I've changed his clothes a few times since packaging him.  Black shirt and jeans?
I do know now that I don't need to waste time picking out formalwear and swimwear, etc since they don't get packaged along.
