You can fiddle with the properties of the furniture itself, but I don't know of any global mods.

I don't think I've run into anything like that (other than doing it one by one ... no thanks lol), but it's a great idea. Let us know if you do find something.

What I'd really like to see is something that prevents the value of the floor tiles/wall coverings from depreciating the moment you place them. It makes decorating such a pain in the butt.

The Magic Wand can pre-depreciate everything in a prebuilt house, which will reduce the cost of the house and stop further depreciation, but nothing offhand currently disables it entirely.
