 I havn't played sims in so long that I forgot is it okay to delete    groups.cache?  I know this is a first grade question.       Sorry

Not only is it okay, it often makes things better. I delete it before playing every time.

Yeah, I second that. On my old computer I had to delete it before every game. The thumbnails too. If I forgot, my game became very, very odd.

It's not a good idea to delete it EVERY time, as it DOES contain potentially performance-enhancing cache data, but it should certainly be pzorched anytime you make changes to the composition of your downloads folder or observe visual oddities in your game.

I delete it every time, because otherwise my game actually loads only about 1/5 of the time.

I 'm glad I did not get in to trouble for asking.  I came here the other day after being gone for    awhile and I saw a thread that said "  You are stupid and we hate you"

  I don't know who they were giving hell to.  but it made me laugh and I thought heck,  I know Im stupid and I don't care if somebody hates me,  if I got something to ask, I will ask it.

Venusy was taking suggestions for improving the FAQ. I made a comment that kids today are programmed to ignore anything with "FAQ" in the title, so renaming it "You are stupid and we hate you" might prompt them to click on it to see what's going on.
