What's wrong with this Sim?

I have a brand-new Legacy Sim in Pleasantview, in a brand-new installation.  She's best friends with Pao the mailman and asked him to move in, which he accepted.  He's in love with her and all of the options come up on his end.  She's not in love with him, though she'll do certain romantic things with him, but she won't accept...make out, for example, and some other things.  I have tried everything.  They've macro>>romanticated for awhile and I don't know what the hell is wrong with her.  They're not family.  Neither are gay.  I don't have conflicting hacks.  Anyone know what's up?

Sounds like a typical noinstantlove behavior. Keep bludgeoning, it will happen eventually.

Okay, mayhaps it's the no instant love thing...I didn't actually read what was in the Director's Cut, just installed it all
