Devilsrope, thanks for all the hard work you put into the items you have extracted.  They look and work great.

This is a suggestion for anyone still looking for an alternative to the Castaways campfire cooking.  I found a grill http://www.thesimsresource.com/artists/steffor/downloads/sims2/SetID_563999/ which fits perfectly over the game campfire (with moveobjects on), both work and look great ingame. The grill only has 1 hunger but I edited it Simpe and made the BCONs same value as the 10 hunger barbeque.

An alternative for the streamer trunk is this picnic basket http://www.thesimsresource.com/artists/Cashcraft/downloads/sims2/sets/174986/
It just needs to be updated to Seasons and Freetime which was very easy to do using the instructions in this thread http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,11264.0.html

My castaways were shipwrecked so they managed to salvage these objects when they washed up onshore 

I am not sure of the policy here on posting pictures, but I have them of these objects working and will post them if requested and it is ok.

Does anyone have this download, the grill over the fire? It's not free to download from TSR.

Plus I really like the sleeping bag bed for sleeping out and for squatters.

Inrez, people generally like pictures and here they use Photobucket or Imageshack and similar to display the pictures.

This is obviously the original, not the SimPE-supercharged version.  Frankly, it's quite useless as is even though it looks nice, so I hope someone will be kind enough to share their modded one at some point.

I suppose you could use Yggdrasil's steamer truck and mod it to make it Castaway style. My suggestion would be to make a recolor of how it looked in Castaway and then make the coding of the refrigerator and bookcase strings to duplicate what it looked like in Castaway Stories.

I saw in a video here http://www.foundthesims.com/us/ that there were other instriments in castaway other then the drums.  Is this true?  Or are they beta items maxis took out and/or unextractable from the game.

I have that in my game but it is only decorative.  It does not act as a stove or have any any function.  Still pretty though.
