Removing custom meshes

THANKS THIS IS GREAT

I have some downloaded clothing where I really like the texture, but there's a custom mesh that I don't like that makes my sims look unnaturally skinny.  Is there any way to make them not use the custom mesh and just look normal?

Yup, assuming that you have a mesh similar to the skinny one.
Create two projects in BodyShop: one from the skinny dress and one from another similar dress (with the mesh you want to use).
Go to Projects folder and copy the textures (should be 3 picture files) from the skinny one folder to the other, letting them overwrite.
In BodyShop go to the project with the not-skinny mesh and refresh, so you'll see if the texture is correctly applied. If it is, import to game.
