Wants are re-rolling every few seconds....

...and I could swear I read about it somewhere here at MATY but damned if I can find it again.  I've searched in a variety of ways and still nothing.  Does anyone remember seeing such a thread?

As for my problem - in one house all my sims' wants and fears keep re-rolling every few seconds.  This just started recently.  Any ideas (that is, if it wasn't answered somewhere else).

Can you lock anything? Does the reroll wants help?

I think it's the test hack "want and fear sanity" or some such thing. It never had its own thread, and I don't remember in what thread it that people talked about it.

That test hack is for Fat, Gwilly Type people only.

Yes, that test hack snuck into the regular directory and a few people ended up with it who were not meant to have it (not awesome enough, or something). And it caused want/fear rerolls, although for me it was every hour on the hour, not every few minutes.

Thanks, all - I deleted the unawesome awesome hack.  Or is it the awesome hack for the unawesome user?  Makes no difference - I burninated the little fucker-file anyway.

Normal constant-rerolling tends to go away if you ignore it a bit, it takes awhile for drastic cutoffs of want trees to stabilize themselves.
