clothingtool globals broken?

I wasn't sure where to ask about this so I thought I'd share here.  Anyway, I graduated four sims from uni yesterday but the clothingtool never kicked in to let them buy some decent adult clothes before leaving campus.  It's supposed to automatically pop up at this time, correct?  I have everything up to seasons and am using the latest seasons clothingtool + clothingtool-globals.

This may sound like an obvious question, but you did have the clothing tool physically present on the lot, right?  It won't kick in if the pile of clothes isn't present.

Also, if it is in a dormie's room so it disappears, it won't work. I've done that before. Move a sim out, and a dormie moves into the room with the clothing tool on the desk or something.

Damn.  It's not one of those things I put on every lot like the debugger.  Never even occurred to me.  Thanks guys.

Yea, it's an easy oversight.  I usually give all my dorms at least one communal locker (dresser), so I put the clothing tool next to the locker as a reminder that I've put on on the lot.
