Lot Expander ate my roads

I used the lot expander to increase the size of one of my lot.  The problem is it expanded one side past the road.  I moved the lot, but the road is quite gone.  I was wondering if  I could fix this by overwriting the terrain file with the original.

Lot expander is awesome.  But I think it would be better to use it in a backup copy of the game fix up your house and then import it into your game.
