Removing roof with more than one building on lot

I didn't break it, but does someone know how to remove a roof from one building structure when there are multiple on the lot?
When I try the remove roof option, it removes the roof from all the buildings and that is not what I want.

crtl-left click on the roof you want to remove, when the roof tools are selected.
