INSTRUCTIONS:
Place in your MYDOCU~1\EAGAME~1\THESIM~1\DOWNLO~1 directory.

BUGS FIXED:
Corrects broken slottage which would cause random resets and game breakage
in the presence of certain NPCs which Maxis forgot to update the slottage for.
Note this problem will likely similarly afflict pre-Seasons custom NPCs created
by those who are not Awesome. Currently the Streaker is the only NPC known to
be afflicted, but others may be as well and will be added as discovered.

COMPATIBILITY:
This hack is fully compatible with all FFS hacks. For TS2Seasons.

SIDE EFFECTS:
May cause computer damage, incontinence, explosion of user's head, coma, death,
and/or halitosis.

WARNING:
Do not open, crush, dispose of in fire, put in backwards, short-circuit, or mix
with non-awesome hacks - may explode, leak, or catch fire, resulting in injury
and/or death.

Hi

Ok - maybe I'm not doing something correctly. I just placed the mod in my downloads folder, but, on further reflection & the fact that he's still locking up with the same error, I thought that maybe I need to replace the slot in his character file with the one you supplied. Would this be correct?

The other thing I noticed in trying to figue this out is that the group 0x7F30D7A7 is for the barista template but he's actually streaker which is group 0x7F811304.

I thought that I'd need to replace his solt in the character file because he's an already existing character but I'm not sure. I would think that fixing the template would generate correct slots for new NPCs but the existing ones would need to be manually modified? Is this right?

Looking through the other NPC templates slot files - it looks like about half of them were not updated - the main difference being in column 14.

Grah. Stupid SimPE and not committing changes properly. Fixed now. Got a list of the other ones that are broken? And no, you shouldn't need to import the data into the existing character file. Maxis changed the way this works so that they could make changes like this.

Thanks for doing this.

The only other one I found was the Chef group 0x7F2D4127. He only has the 35 lines like the Streaker. All of the other templates have aditional lnes added from 36 through 39 depending on which template it is.

I am happy to report it's working now
