can't delete wall

THANKS THIS IS GREAT

I shortened this house so I could put in an elevator but this wall will not delete.  It is not even attached to the house anymore.   I tried using the objects on cheat but that did not work.   When I try to delete it,  I do not get any error message, like out of bounds or any,  it just will not delete.

what should I do?   Will the lot debugger get rid of it?

Have you tried placing floor tiles extending to where the walls are?
I can never remove walls/fences unless flooring is present on upper levels.

Place walls on the first floor underneath them. Then delete the upper floor walls, then get rid of the temp walls on the ground floor.
