TMI Error - Wants disappear except for billiard bet

This occurs permanently on only one sim on the actually played lot, but I've seen it on other sims before. The only wants that stay is for billiard and the locked one. When I load the lot, all wants are there in the first place, but when its time to reroll, they leave and won't get replaced.

Send your Sims downtown, preferably on a date or outing. Their current want selection is about empty.

Thank you Jordi. I did this but it didn't help. But when the sim went back home, she had all wants (as described), and I added several locks for them with twojeff's Uni Controller. Left one unlocked, and this one disappeared as before. But the locks do help in a way, though the lack of rerolling may make the wants become outdated some time.
More precise than I said before: When I load the lot from the neighborhood, wants are away. They are there when I come back from a community lot.

Try enabling the debugging cheats from the neighbourhood screen, then load the house. Hopefully you'll get some error in the Wants Controller - delete this.

I did this and was amazed when it worked after my sim woke up the first time after. But that was it. Another wake and the wants disappear even though I hit delete on the popup Wants Controller error. Not enough - it spread to other sims in the household and those who moved out kept it. Could that be the evil global warmth Pescado always warns of? My NB has all in all around 800 sims.

I checked hacks that may affect wants and it appeared that I had an outdated version of twojeff's call to chat fix, which caused the problem. So, no BFBVFS yet
