THANKS THIS IS GREAT

I have WA installed and was using NRaasa story progress mod, and I heard that AwesomeMod was updated so I figured I would give it a shot, I removed the NRaasa file from my mod folder in the TS:WA folder after I installed awsomemod, I get this error.

"WARNING: Non-Critical core mismatch! a core file not part of awesome mod...." at the loading screen, it doesnt crash there but my TV broke and I clicked hire technician and the game crashed.. would appreciate any help to fully remove the other core mod or find a fix for this... thanks

*edit* another random crash while cleaning the house.

I did use search and found nothing that fixes my problem, there are previous posts saying that it happens when AM is out of date and whatnot, but the latest version of AW is supposed to work with World Adventures.

AM has it's own story engine. You can try using the configuration to disable it, but it's probably just that Twallan's story progression isn't compatible.

I removed Twallans file from the folder though, do I need to make a whole new game in order to fix it??

Hello

I have used the NRaas mod in the past and quite liked it but when I did not want to use it anymore I could not remove it no matter what I tried.  It was like it had left some residual files behind that I could not locate.

I could not get Indie mod to work again as that is what I used prior to NRaas and so in the end I had to reinstall the whole game to get rid of whatever was there.

Sorry if this is not what you want to hear but that is what I had to do to get my game to run as normal again.

kind regards

"Non-Critical core mismatch! a core file not part of awesome mod" generally means you are not updated to the level of Awesomemod.
Patch up to 2.2.8

Pajak clearly needs to "make a whole new game".

Personally, I'd try deleting the scriptcache as well.  But that is just me.

I also routinely get that pop-up on every start up -

I dont have (or ever had) any other progression mod, 'cept for AM - and I update that about every two days to make sure its always the latest version after my 'flagrant system error'(s).
It seems quite harmless, just an annoyance having to click ignore every time.

The oddity is that I havent downloaded anything new since I got WA, and I never had the pop-up before. And I always keep the game game patched to the latest versions.

Im not complaining about it though- its the least of my troubles.

There's a new patch. If you keep your game fully patched, that'd be why.
