Need Sims 3 Gaming with Sims 2 Content & Custom Content Capability

Sims 3 has been so disappointing so far.  Some of the things are interesting.  But that's it, their interesting concepts with faulty delivery.  It's almost like a whole new game needs to be created again.  Maybe we should come up with ideas and ask modders like Pescado, Inge, Delphy, and creators like Enayla to come up with a "sims" type game that actually works and leave stupid EA out of it.  Hey there's already spin-offs of Sim-City out there, why can't there be one of the Sims?

I would also like a Sims-type spin off game, except better in every way and when my Sims make money at their jobs I get a check in the mail for real money. Also you can have Pokemon as pets.

I think the game itself is fine as it is or relatively so but they just really need to give the community more tools to create content for it. User content has always been a huge part of the community and keeping the Sims games fresh and interesting all the way back to TS1. It's really to EA's benefit to keep people's interest level for the game up and keep them from getting bored. I realize they have their expansion and stuff packs and what not, but for me I feel like that's still not enough variety.

Eventually people will make the tools and they have already started however more support from the creators of the game who already know its ins and outs and thus don't have to spend time figuring it out like we do would have been nice.

I don't really need another pony, and sparklies make my eyes hurt, but TS2 with an open neighborhood and CAST truly would have been awesome.

I've actually done this IRL, LOL.. It was called "The Sims Online" and it was very, very profitable.

Ugh. How many stupid posts like this have been made recently? Unless you have unlimited time, skills, and most importantly funds, go away. All of the modders you named actually have jobs and, you know, lives.

Well, with the possible exception of Pescado, but we can't ask all of the talented modders out there to start holing up in bunkers, now can we?
