Deleting a sim

Hello!

I was trying to find an answer on MTS already, but no one could help, so I'm hoping you guys could!

My wish is to delete a sim, rather it is an unwanted baby. I know this sounds cruel, but this is because the baby has a glitched family tree plus genetics as he has no father listed though there clearly has been a genitor (I was there when it happened!)
So now the baby doesn't fit into my family really and I would prefer to fully delete it without having it leave marks in the family tree.

I'd appreciate your help!!

You can go to "edit town" and select your family. From there, you select "break up family".  When the names of the family members come up, select the name of the unwanted child.  Hit the check mark to confirm your selection.  The child will wind up on a "notepad" and you can delete it from there.  I've done it with no adverse effects/reactions from/to my sims.
