THANKS THIS IS GREAT

Sorry if this has been answered before. But I've searched and can't find an answer.

I've got my own PT-set and I want to replace one of the Aliens with a different one.

Anyway, to make a long story short, I'm curious to know if deleting a PT will have the same effect on the hood as improperly deleting a Sim? Anyone know?

No, I think removing a default poli tech only affects alien babies born after the removal, they'll be born to the new alien(s). Pollinators are just sperm donors, if I'm not mistaken, not actual playable characters. (except for PT 9 in ST)

Don't do it: it will make a mess of your genealogy tree. Just put the other PTs in game and replace the controller with the new one, but don't remove the old PTs themselves, ever.

Ooh. Good to know. So, as long as the ol' gal's package is still there, all should be well?

I was about to delete her green butt once and for all.

You cannot delete the Pollination Technician. Deleting the SDSC of the pollination technician will make hash out of your neighborhood files. Don't do it.

I would have pointed this out to you earlier, as you have other threads concerning your own game borkage.  Self realization is a great thing.

Point taken. I'll make a note of that advice as well.  Wink

Thanks everyone.
