Can I restore, just one lot from backup?

THANKS THIS IS GREAT

I looked in the lots folder and there are hundreds of entries.  I just want to restore one lot not the whole neighborhood?  Is this possible, or am I just stuck?

Use the Clean Installer to sort through that neighbourhood's Lots folder. You'll be able to see small pictures of the lots, and this will help you to locate the one you want to restore. As long as the lot is unoccupied, there should be no problems.

Thanks.  I didn't want to open each file individually that would have taken forever!

Use: "boolprop ShowLotPackageFilename true"
Running the cursor over your lot in neighbourhood view will show you the filename of your lot.  Note the filename and exit the game.

Pick up that filename from your backed up hood, and copy it into the LotCatalogue of your hood-in-play using Windows Explorer.  Go back into your game and look at your lot in its restored glory - save lot.  Exit back to neighbourhood view.  Done.

I do this whenever I move out a family so that the lot will be furnished again when another family moves in.
