"Don't Wave at Me" has failed me

Stupid customers no longer realize that objects behind locked doors are not for them. On one of my residential lots, I have sims standing around the locked gate with the thought bubble of the gate, x-ed out. On selection, it shows that they are trying to get a drink from the bar on the porch beyond the gate. They are standing around pining instead of getting their butts to the makeover chair.
