Wrong terrain textures after Terrain Surgery

Okay, I am sure that I have read the solution on this problem, but I have been seaching all morning with no result. Both here, Google and other forums (sims forums, that is)

What I did:
Instead of going through all the struggle with creating new locals, secret lots etc, I had the game create the 3 vacation hoods that came with BV. Then I removed all lots and neighborhood decorations and did Terrain Surgery to have my own terrains.

The problem:
However, the original terrains were lush and my terrains is dirt. In the neighborhoodview the dirt terrain shows fine, but entering a lot it is a mix of dirt and lush terrain; dirt in the lot area and lush in the surronding area the sidewalk area.
It is just a cosmetic problem, I know, but it annoys me so badly.

Any one remembers a post regarding this problem or anyone with a solution

Wasn't there a cheat where you can change the type of the neighborhood? Changeterraintype dirt or something like that? try googling it. It requires an EP, don't recall which. Anyway, try putting that in.

Yes .... TerrainType dirt/desert/temperate/concrete, but apparently it only works for the neighborhood view, tried it and did exit the game and reloaded ... it didn´t help ... but it was a good suggestion, so thanks 

I have a feeling that I would have to edit something with SimPE, but have no clue where to start.

As I said, I have seached all day (now) with no result ... I´d even seached the BBS  , which shows just how desperate I am right now ...
