servos as townies?

THANKS THIS IS GREAT

The topic pretty much says it all. Will my game blow up, if i make a bunch of servos into townies?

I did a search for townie and servo, but came up emtpy, other than the fact that making a servo into a NPC type townie is nigh-on-impossible. Which is not what i wanna do.

Thanks for the pokes and the answers, if any.

Servos are no different from other sims really.  I've turned unneded servos into townies with no ill effects.

Ditto.
I turn servos in townies then hire them for owned business; it's quite handy, they work as employee but don't clog the lot like residents.

Why did I read that as "undead servos"?

Normally I'd shout Freudian slip, but even I can't spot anything seriously penile about that.
Although, I have had undead servos.  In fact, once I had a Zombie-Vampire-Werewolf-Servo.  He was completely useless.

That makes me wonder, can servos be turned into plant Sims?

Is it possible to have a zombie-werewolf-vampire-PLANTSIM-servo? For that matter, a vampire plantsim?

How does a plantsim vampire work?  Do they need sunlight, or does it kill them?  Do they need artificial light only?  How about other motives, are they static?

I thought the vampire servo was bad enough.  Sunlight didn't kill it, but it couldn't recharge by it and it made motives drop like crazy.  I can't remember if motives were static by night or not.  The stupid thing was always wandering about trying to do chores during day, depleting all motives, and running amock.  And I had serious trouble managing to convince it to stay in it's fricking coffin.

That lamp that came with gardening stuff is supposed to work for that; it recharges sunlight motive but doesn't (in theory) burn vampires

Considering all it's handicaps, probably it just stayed under a sprinkler and sunlamp during the night bleh-ing, howling, and shuffling from one corner to the other. Boring.

I'm about to have my first alien-alien child. Shows how far behind I am. I impregnated a fake alien (used one of Enayla's fantasy skins) by the green ones. Basically a "Hey, this is our planet to play with, you don't belong here! Here, have a probe." situation.
