Two Pets Issues

Anyone have any ideas Hit me up. I tried searching but didn't get a lot of info.

Snap Dragons aren't working. I tried JM's tester for it but didn't help.

No reporters. I haven't had one since the day I installed pets.

Neither have I, but I don't think it's much of a problem. Even when I played businesses near incessantly, I only had a reporter once or twice.

Third Issue:

I can promote someone to manager but the want is not completed.

Re the snapdragons - the pinkish fumes are not always pumping so you may have to wait for a while before they show up. Also your sims' needs could be decreasing faster than the snapdragon can increase them.

It might be worthwhile downloading Windkeeper's OFB extracted craft objects at MTS2 if you wanted to play around with snapdragons that definitely work and save you having to keep getting your sims to make the flowers. Just remember to go into collections for Build mode though and not Buy mode in order to get the objects.

Third Issue:

I have this problem since OFB came out, and my sims also want to promote an employee when he is already the manager. They also often want to promote an employee when an other one is already manager (as far as I know you can't have more than one manager by shop).

I keep snapdragons on each side of every bed and I've not seen any reduction in their effect since Pets.  None of them have needed replacing with fresher stock.  I do make certain that the snapdragons are pointed where I want them: i.e. the arrows are aimed toward the bed, not toward the wall.  Ditto for placement next to chairs or the chess table.

I did have a reporter show up in a newly opened deli business this weekend but when I was playing Monday night, oddly enough my flower shop was awarded the "best of best" award without anyone showing up.   I had not played that lot since January 23; it was one of my first businesses and has a 10 ranking.  Sells snapdragons, natch.
