no Crumplebottom sightings...

It has just occurred to me that I really haven't seen any sign of Mrs. Crumplebottom on my community lots since installing OFB.

Is there a hack out there I might have that, unbeknown to me, bans her from showing up on lots?

I like having the old bag around. She helps to keep things interesting.

If you have Twojeff's visitor controller, I believe that Crumplbutt is banned by default.

Is it an object you have to place in a lot, or does it have some kind of macro effect just by virtue of being in your downloads folder?

I believe that the Crumplebottom remover is a global thing.

You can unban Crumplebutt from any particular lot by taking your sim there and using the "adjust" menu.  I believe it would only apply for that particular visit only.  I don't know of a way to remove that effect, it may be worth searching through the appropriate thread for instructions.

The visitor controller is global (it pays to RTFM ).  If you change a particular sim to allow someone that's banned by default (Mrs. C, the Gypsy, etc), they'll always be allowed whenever that particular sim is on a community lot.  It's a permanent setting that stays with the sim, and isn't lot-specific.

To do lot-specific visitor controls, you have to add the controller paintings to the lot.
