Pointless Mesh Questions.

I'm working on sorting through some custom content and would like to know:

1.  If I have a clothing texture file, how do I tell which mesh it belongs to?

2.  Is it possible to tell outside of the game which meshes are able to show pregnancy/fatness?

3.  If I wanted to take a peek at the default Maxis meshes, where would I find them?

4.  Is it possible to edit a texture without loading it into body shop?  If so, how?
