Body Shop no longer opens

Help, please.
 
I have the base game (obviously), university, and nightlife. All installed in the right order.

Ever since I got and installed the holiday booster pack, I've been unable to open BodyShop. It crashes every single time I try. It worked before I had that, and now it doesn't. I'm opening it from the same place.

Any ideas? I'm not reinstalling my game.

I'm not familiar with the holiday booster pack.  Can it be un- installed? 

Try moving the download folder to your desktop to see if BS will load.  (Don't forget to move it back after) It could be something in there that's causing a problem.  Or, if you have XP, try creating a new user and see if the game will load. 

If it's not the download folder, and you can't un-install the booster pack, then your only other alternative will be a re-install.

Er, remember that there may be something in SavedSims that could be causing a problem. If it isn't fixed by angelyne's suggestions, also try moving any content in SavedSims out and trying to open BodyShop. However, if you have XP, trying to open it under a new user account is much faster as the game will automatically created a custom-content free environment for that account.

As it happens, I do have XP.  And just created a new account to try opening it that way.  Guess what?  It works.

Considering I don't use Body Shop that often, this is an acceptable workaround for me.
