Just can't move in/propose

No matter what I try, or how long I socialize/romance, I can't propose to move in a 100/100 friend, or a partnered lover, or even a spouse. I heard the move in option is under the "friendly...", but such option never shows up there, ever.

I desperately needed a farm hand, so I used cheat to add a lover to my sim's family. But I want to make it official.  Neither of them can have the option to propose marriage. So how do you do it?

I had major problems with the moving in too. The "Ask to move in" option is indeed under "Friendly", but first you have to queue up several other friendly interactions, untill you get the "Sim B thinks Sim A is being friendly" or "...being sociable", that depends, probably on the relationship score. Never had problems with "Have Private Wedding" but I presume that it's the same - queue up romantic interactions and it should do it.

The "move in" option is a serious pain-- half the time my sims have the option to "propose marriage" before I can get one sim to ask the other to move in with them. Usually I just cheat by shift-clicking the sim I want and choosing "add to active family". (Though you need to have debug mode enabled for this to work.)

If they can propose marriage, they're in romantic tone - move in is friendly tone.

I also often don't realize that the family I'm playing with already has 8 sims and since marrying in another sim would be 9, the option never even shows up. It will show up though if one of the lovers has less than 8 sims in their household, or if you have a mod.
