My alarm isn't working?

This is weird, and a problem I haven't heard before. But for some reason today when I got a burglar my alarm just didn't sound. It didn't do anything, and hasn't since June 2nd. I was wondering why I had to call them every time. If I don't call them they never come even though there is a alarm. Is there anything I have to do to set it? Or is my alarm just made of fail? And by the way, I do not have AwesomeMod yet. I'll get it eventually, I'm just slow and lazy with these things. I was just wondering if anyone else here had a problems with the burglar alarms not working at all

Not that this helps you a bit. Honestly I haven't seen one work yet in my game. (The burglar alarm)
