Move sims into a house but get no live mode, "Controller - Climate" error

I made a family in CAS and then moved them into a house. But the live mode was greyed out, and the sims were not seen on the lot. The other modes are available. The family funds was correctly deducted with the price of the house.

Right before the lot loaded, I got a "Controller - Climate" error (error log ObjectError_N515_t21 attached). "Reset" does not do anything, I had to "delete".

When I moved them out the problem house and into another house, they loaded fine.

When I took all the downloads out, the same problem occurred (error log ObjectError_N515_t24 attached).

I have all EPs and SPs.

Nothing Awesome modifies that controller and the error you're seeing doesn't appear to be EAxian, so once again, I point the blame squarely at tight pants.
