THANKS THIS IS GREAT

Motoki, I thought of you for this since you've extracted flowers from the hot tub. Is it possible to extract individual flowers from the square "carpet" Maxis gives us? I'd like to be able to place a scattering of individual flowers about, giving a more natural and less landscaped look.

Alternately, if anyone knows where I could download such a thing or something similar, please let me know. Thanks!

THANKS THIS IS GREAT

It would be great to have something that worked like the water plants, a random plop of different, yet similar plants.

I agree, I hate squares of flowers.  Landscaping would look far more realistic if mixtures of plants could be done.

I know of a site that sort of has this. There are a couple of flowers without the grass, which makes it possible to make any shapes you want and they look like scattered individual flowers. It's a non-English site. It also has different sized pine trees, window sills, and other interesting new meshes. Free, too. WHY can't I remember the name?

I'll look through my favorites and see if I can't dig it up.

EDIT: Got it. Good that I'm organized. Okay, go to http://bienchen83.s01.user-portal.com/downloadseiten/meshes6.htm and the mesh is about halfway down the page. Don't forget the recolors.

I could probably do it, but like Sara said, I think it's been done before. I know I've seen something like this, but I can't remember where. LOL that's the problem with visiting every sims site on the face of the earth.  Tongue

I use the plants from the link Sara provided and they are dead useful.

Well, not dead. Just useful. The sims water and care for them just like the Maxis plants.
