Does nobabyharrassment not work on servos?
« on: 2008 August 07, 23:24:55 »
THANKS THIS IS GREAT

Since I installed nobabyharrassment, my game has been blissfully free of extraneous autonomous baby interactions.  Until I activated a servo in the same house as a baby, that is.  Now the servo's ever other interaction is something to do with the baby.  Is this something that servos do because they're servos, or is nobabyharrassment not meant for servos, or is there something non-awesome going on with my game?

(BTW, this servo has been activated for less than 48 hours and is already causing problems.  I turned my back for five minutes and she was making out with a married sim right in front of his family-sim mother-in-law.  What the fuck, ACR?)

On a somewhat related note, is there any way to move a servo out by itself?  I don't seem to get any options with the paper and the computer.

Do you have Paladin's servo chore controller thing? I vaguely remember hearing that that caused a problem like your own when used in conjunction with nobabyharassment.

I have some of paladin's hacks, but not that one, no.

AFAIR servos do not get an ACR token by default. You have to do that manually. As for the baby bit, I don't know, I don't have a baby in a house with a servo currently.

I don't think I explicitly gave the servo a token (I thought it was just NPCs that don't get tokens?), but I did roll her a gender preference.  I've just never seen ACR move quite that quickly before.

I guess the fact that this has been moved to the Oops You Broke It forum answers the question of whether it's the hack or my game that's the problem.  Tongue  I think I'll just power down the servo until the kid is old enough to take care of itself.  Or maybe forever.
