package.package.package??? What does this mean?

I wonder if anyone knows... Why do some packages have two or more .package extensions on the end of their file name?  Is this a problem?  should I change their names to have only one?  Or should I ignore them?

Just change it to .package; the extra .package extensions are an artefact of the Clean Installer.

I've seen that happen with clean installer when I already had a .package with the same name in the folder that I installed to. You may want to go through and see if you have the same item multiple times.
