Stupid FreeTime Car

Okay, so what's up with this thing?!  I've had two for one of my sims, her mechanical skill was maxed out, as was her interest in tinkering.  She worked on the body and engine, then I told her to paint the car.  Well, after awhile, she stopped painting the car, the car is definitely NOT painted, and now there are no actions that can be done to the car.  What's up with that........

This is a annoying jump bug which EAxis borken on purpose.
After you fix the engine and body, rev the engine then paint

Is the car in the driveway? I made the mistake of sticking mine in the backyard and got all sorts of jump bugs.
