Im trying to figure out if this would be a bad thing in Sims 3, EA put this part in their Spore EULA, and given the way EAxis is going, I think its highly likely we'er going to see it show up in future games with content creation like Sims 3. Which means All those idiots who run sims paysites are going to be out of business. EAxis lawyers will probaly go after them.

In exchange for use of the Software, and to the extent that your contributions through use of the Software give rise to any copyright interest, you hereby grant EA an exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, fully transferable and sub-licensable worldwide right and license to use your contributions in any way and for any purpose in connection with the Software and related goods and services, including the rights to reproduce, copy, adapt, modify, perform, display, publish, broadcast, transmit, or otherwise communicate to the public by any means whether now known or unknown and distribute your contributions without any further notice or compensation to you of any kind for the whole duration of protection granted to intellectual property rights by applicable laws and international conventions. Are Closets broken? I cant seem to open them or use them to change clothes or plain outfit. On the normal one, i get no options at all, on the mirror one I get mirror interactions + Vanity Table interactions. Any ideas?

Im hoping the hack thats coming is a Magic Shop that sells Reagents and potions. Too bad EAxis forgot to watch harry potter (even though they publish the games!) to notice they do have magic shoppes where these things can be purchased, its a pain to have to make some because the npcs only sell you same-alighment reagents.

how exactly do you teach other sims magic? I finally got my witch to full Evil with max skill and my daughter to full good with max skill and for some reason neither of us have the option to teach magic to my other daughter. Can player Witches not teach magic? is it only taught by friending a npc??

I think theres gradual effects too! I've been having my girl studying evil Witchcraft all the time and casting evil spells and when i zoom in im starting to notice some kind of discoloration and such. Though I wish someone could mod 2 different Teleporation spells for Good and Evil. Casting the one in the game that is on Neutral keeps screwing up my alignment. Besides, it'd look cooler if Dark Energy enveloped a evil Witch when she Teleports.
Im sooo hoping someone fixes this, I think Good/Evil Seperate Teleportation spells would be awesome!

Thanks for all the help, i got the skins replaced and i found a witch since i moved to Belladonna Cove, ironically the Light Side witch was totally attracted to me and wanting to woo-hoo nearly immediately making the Path of Light option come up rather fast (she had 2 lightning bolts to me ) Unfortunatly I want to be a EVIL witch, from the get go, so i finally found Francis and shes totally not attracted to me, bleh so now its a uphill battle to become friends with her, took awhile and im finally a witch And I slept with both of them lol. I was wondering, when do i get the new skin? My daughter become Lightside too and she doesnt have the Light Witch Skin and I dont have the Dark skin. Is it also something that has to be unlocked? Thanks! Edit> Interestingly also, The Good Witch showed up downtown at the Crypt O'Night at Nighttime for some reason, while the Evil Witch Showed up at Freya's during the day time. Im not complaining but does that mean something is wonky with them?

hey all, I just got AL today mostly because i was looking forward to (finally!) getting Makin'Magic esqe-ness for Sims 2 but for some reason i dont see any witches or know whos one anywhere. How can I find them? I really want to be a witch! Also I was wondering if theres skin replacements for them yet? or if i could take an existing one like a Pixie one and make it work for them?

Thank you all, I went into the console and typed "Moveobjects off" and it started working properly. How can i keep it off? so i dont have to do it everytime i play?

Did you leave the moveObects command on? Sometimes it'll crappify stuff if you don't make sue to turn it off. Make sure you turn off any boolprop commands, also. That'll crappify stuff too. I'm sure someone who's awesome will tell you better.
How can i check? I dont remember opening the console and putting in any commands. Is this stuff in the Userstartup.cheat? Can we get some pics to see what's going on? Are you sure the counters you are using allow sinks and dishwashers to go in them?
I'll try to get some pics if needed, but these counters are maxis made ones and i've been through the entire Collection of counters and they all do the same thing. Thanks for answering, i wonder if this is the most bizzaire problem of the week.

hey all, im having this werid problem where no counters will connect, as in Kitchen counters, so i cant put any sinks or dishwaters etc in them. Any ideas?
I have all the Expansion and Stuff packs and patch 1 for Freetime, and all im using are a bunch of hair/eye/skin etc mods and InTeen Freetime, More awesome then you FT Set, Gunmod's lights, and numenor's Scriptorium and Slot Enable and Color Enable and yes, I've tried deleting the Slot Enable mod but it was still the same.
Thanks for any help, I spent an hour googling but it seemed no one had this problem.

The awesome hacks rock, so i'll try this sleep clock instead As for my Vampire, they tend to rise after i put her in the coffin at 6:30 am (she makes breakfest first!) she'll sleep for maybe a few hours but by around 12 to 3pm she gets it in her pretty undead head to go swing on the swingset outside or go for a swin in the pool. Grrr.

I wish someone could make a patch to prevent Servo bots from becoming monsters, its just wrong lol. I do agree though, it'd be pretty cool if there where was a "Evil Dead" Kit or Buffy the Vampire Slayer clothing or something, someone modded in that lets you kill or at least fight off zombies, afterall, theres always someone who tries to fight a zombie horde during the zombie apocolypse Naturally only player sims would have this.

I hope this is the right place for this, also i dont know if its a bug or not but its pretty annoying the Vampire Queen keeps deciding to go outside in broad daylight, lol Im trying to do other things in the house and every day i hear the funeral music and the Queen is ashes!
Is it possible to make a mod that gives vampires the dread fear of daylight they will never step foot outside during the day?? I have to keep cheating to ressurect her, not to mention wait till one of the teens or the husband gets home from school/work to use the resurrection tombstone cheat item.

Thanks for all your help, i dont know if this is the proper way to fix it but i was curious about that line someone mentioned "boolProp snapObjectsToGrid false" so i put it in UserStartup.cheat and changed it to True and it worked fine again, is this going to cause other problems? Also, it seems the way people talk about InSim and InTeen that they are like microsoft products lol.
