I'd like to request a feature that would cycle the sim through available outfits upon getting dressed. What's the point in having three outfits for each subset if the game just dresses the sim in the same thing every day?
I realize this is a thing twallan's dresser does, but it comes bogged down with so many features that I don't want that I prefer not to use it.

I've got a sim in the Ghost Hunter profession. When she goes on the missions where she's supposed to use the ghost scanner, I get the "room is suddenly incredibly cold" message but no ghost appears. Further attempts to scan that room result in nothing, and there are no other actions my sim can take.
Removed all hacks other than AM, yadda yadda. I have seen a bunch of people bitching about this problem on the BBS and other forums recently, so it may be EAxian.

I just started playing ASM-friendly Sunset Valley, and I can't seem to have my sim find any seeds anywhere. There are fish in the ponds, but I have also not seen any insects or ores. I've checked the usual places (stonehenge, graveyard, science center, etc.).
ETA: Never mind; they're spawning now. I guess it just took some time for the game to populate the collectibles.

Thanks for the translation MissKitty. I couldn't be bothered attempting to read thedevilsim's post since it doesn't appear to be written in English. Kudos to you for working your way through it and explaining what it is about (a lengthy, troublesome, and time-consuming way to cheat).
Meh, don't you know that "lol" is the new period/full stop? Be MOAR hip! **dies a little more inside**

I don't believe I had the most expensive bath/shower, but it definitely had both bubble bath and a candle - perhaps the candle is needed?
No, it's not. My cheap tub has bubble bath and a ducky, and Bathe Until Tranquil has always been available. I don't know how it works now -- I do NOT want "bathe until tranquil" as the default for autonomous bathing, kthx -- but you used to have to expand the action in your queue in order to get the sims to prunify themselves while getting their mellow on.

I'm curious to see what same-gender baby creations he comes up with, I hope it will not have punishments and restrictions involved so we can breed children from same gender couples!! I would love to have my evil sims battle and see all the new features!!! And I hope there are mini-me kids. No punishments. Just costs. Creating unnatural abominations through science is not cheap! Creating natural abominations through breeding isn't cheap either... or shouldn't be.

Just wanted to post that there is a mod that disables the apple/watermelon gender determination, for those who prefer the baby gender to be fully random. The new EAxis patch seems to disable it as well, though the patch notes specify in "prepared foods" so you may not want to feed a bunch of raw apples to your pregnant sim just yet.

The Wii Monkey Island game looks like a sequel, not a remake. In the trailer Guybrush refers to Elaine as his wife.
Read MOAR. Nintendo announced two new Monkey Island games last week at E3; remake and new series. The trailer you saw is for the five episode game series to be released following the remake. I'd say more, but that would be shilling. Ah, thank you for the information. That is squee-worthy news.

Google indexes this site fast -Search results for 'Prima Guide Stupid' is the 7th link.
Why would anyone buy a game guide anymore with GameFAQ and sites like this one available? Even the library here has those stupid guides! (They have fallen pray to offering noneducational and trendy material to appease youth, instead of updating the facility and replacing the worn materials. Meh.)
Some people prefer to have a physical book with pretty pictures to leaf through. There's something comforting about flipping through a book that you just don't get on even the most informative web sites. Of course, that assumes complete and accurate information. Prima is by no means the only (or even worst) offender as far as full color glossy paperweights go.

I'm thinking maybe it's because she didn't know the neighbors well enough? I mean, I wasn't trying to have her eat out of their fridge, she just had to pee.
If you want to believe the Prima Guide, yes, you are correct. According to the guide, you have to build up the relationship in order to use the bathroom at another Sim's home. I have not tested this myself. That's... incredibly stupid. What, is the sim afraid that the not-acquainted-enough sim will steal all the TP? Sure, maybe someone with the Evil trait would deny visitors potty privileges, but I can't believe that's standard.

Yet another possible bug:
My sim clogged the terlet, but I sent her to bed rather than take care of it because she was exhausted and cranky. She was also newly-pregnant, and when she got up in the middle of the night to vomit she ignored the clogged potty and ran outside into the yard. Once outside, she was fine; she jumped slightly and was no longer nauseous. This happened once more during the night, but once she woke up and demonstrated her mad plunging skills, she was able to puke in the terlet normally.
