Maybe, just maybe, stop trying to move pregnant sims from one world to another seeing as you do need some sort of mod for this, don't you? Either way don't move pregnant sims.
I wasn't aware that you needed a mod to do it. I'll just wait out the pregnancy next time then.
There seem to be quite a few pregnancy problems after the latest patch. I had moved two pregnant Sims from Lucky Palms to Sunset Valley. They both went into labor, but neither would give birth. I tried all of the cheats too. They kept going into an infinite loop of almost giving birth, and on a second try they were stuck resetting themselves over and over at the entryway of the hospital. Finally I went back to the previous save of Lucky Palms and let them give birth there, then moved them back to SV. Searching for help for this problem showed plenty of threads featuring similar issues. I probably won't be letting my Sims get pregnant again until the next game update.
I was wondering why the festival was running all the time as well. I don't really mind too much, but it's kind of odd. I have the feeling it's going to irk me after a while. I did see an alien during my Seasons test play as the Goths. It came down, said hello to Cornelia, came into her house when invited, and then promptly left. It happened just a few minutes after I'd started playing, but I haven't seen one yet while playing my new family. I think I remember Graham saying something about it being a completely random event, but I could be wrong.
All glitches aside (and there are quite a few that are annoying the ever-loving hades out of me), I'm really enjoying how atmospheric the game is now. I've built my Sims a house on the hillside in Sunset Valley, and the view while raining is killer. And now there's a reason for Sims to wear winter clothes, so hey. Not bad, not bad. I'm a little annoyed over how fake and awful the Leaf Shelter looks, though. Every time I see it in build/buy I wish my Sims were able to take an axe to things. Well, I always wish Sims could take an axe to things, but more so when I see it.
I have to have every single thing. Everything is installed in my game as well as backups on a different drive. I just organized it all yesterday in fact. Tidy and delicious.
As for what I use the most, pretty much everything. I try and use themed decor for my houses, but they end up eclectic nearly every time. I do think I use more modern looking items than anything else though. And I always decorate my favorite Sim's bedroom and bathroom with cultural sets. I think the designers went the extra mile with those. The India set is especially sparkly.
I can't for the life of me figure out what's up with her. She was fine at first, just cleaning things and feeding the pets. But then she started going back and forth between doing two things: training the family dog to death, or setting out bowls of food only to put them back into the fridge a few seconds later. I finally dismissed her for a while, then thought I'd try her again. She seems to be doing the right things now. Maybe she needs a break sometimes? She's a skeleton for crying out Pete's sake. I refuse to believe that she has feelings and needs time to herself to contemplate her skeletal remains.
I tried TS2 a while back, and she reminds me of an eff'd version of the kitchen server in the dorms.
I'm playing one from TPB right now: The Sims 3: Supernatural- Limited Edition uploaded by user tikasukaz. I followed the instructions made by the uploader on page 3 of the comments and it's working perfectly. Great EP, btw.
Also, the serial a bit below the instructions (same comments page, by user admz0r) is what I used.
